Virtual Net Meter ( VNM) for Apartments consumers
A group of consumers can jointly own a solar plant within the common premises and use the electricity generated to offset their consumption. Consumers setup a Renewable Energy System(RES). The entire energy generated/injected is exported to the grid through an energy meter. The energy exported is adjusted in more than one electricity service connection(s) of participating consumers. The group of consumers electricity service connection(s) and RES Should be within same distribution licensee’s area of supply. Instead of individual RTS plants, a single large plant has the benefit of economies of scale. Easier O&M with reduced cost and higher generation.
